Kenmare River Holiday Cottages are magnificently situated on the beautiful Kenmare River and Lehid Harbour at Tuosist on the Beara Peninsula, 12 miles south of Kenmare town. Built on the side of a low hill, backed by the lofty McGillicuddy Reeks and the Caha Mountains, the cottages have panoramic views of Kenmare River/Lehid Harbour and the mountains. Sub-tropical plants, flora and fauna flourish in the open as the warm waters of the Gulf Stream lap along it's shore. The cottages are divided into two groups. Group A consists of 4 three bedroom cottages, sleeping 6 people and overlooking Kenmare River. The cottages comprise 1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms. A spacious open-plan living room cum dining room features an open fireplace. There is a sliding door from the living room to a patio area complete with patio furniture. Fully fitted kitchen, bathroom with shower, immersion water heater and hotpress. Group B consists of 3 four bedroom bungalows, sleeping 8 people. Bedrooms comprise 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms. Open plan spacious living room cum dining room with fireplace. All cottages are carpeted throughout and have electric central heating and solid fuel heating. All the cottages have fully fitted kitchens complete with fridge, deep freezer, cooker, iron, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washer/dryer, delph and cutlery. All bedrooms are on the ground floor with fitted wardrobes, vanity units and wash hand basin. Also supplied is all bed linen, pillows, blankets and bedspreads.
