Escape from your hectic life to this charmingly restored Irish farm cottage in the rustic wilderness of North Donegal. The cottage faces south looking over small fields onto distant hills. There is a path down to the River Lennon where you can walk without seeing a soul. A lane with clipped hedges leads through 2 Ulster pillars to a white washed cottage with stable door and windows painted a traditional green. If the sun is out there is a garden bench at the front which is perfectly placed to soak up the sun in peaceful surroundings. The cottage has a lovely lived in feel to it as it was once the owners home. The terracotta orange painted kitchen has a long wooden table, oil fired range cooker and Belfast sink with pretty dresser showing off new and old traditional spongeware tea bowls. There is a snug sitting room with open turf fire and stuffed otter! Off the sitting room is a comfortable single bedroom. Upstairs there is 1 double and 1 twin bedroom simply furnished with old iron beds.
