Luxurious Thatched Seaside Cottage Close to Dublin

Superbly situated, just 20 minutes north of Dublin Airport, in a private gated community are our collection of seven luxurious 300 year-old thatched cottages with private access to a safe sandy six mile long beach.

“The Cottages” have been totally refurbished to a very high standard and extended to provide en-suite accommodation, fully fitted kitchens and luxurious lounges.

Each luxury bathroom has a large walk in power shower, separate full size bath, fitted hairdryer, under floor heating, and heated towel rails. Typically, the fully fitted farmhouse style pine kitchens have an integrated electric oven and hob together with microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a tumble dryer.

The lounges, designed with your comfort in mind, vary in style and design of the individual cottage but characteristically they have vaulted oak beamed ceilings, solid oak flooring, feature fireplaces, and are furnished throughout with traditional Irish pine furniture. The full gas fired central heating and double-glazing throughout our cottages provides comfortable year round accommodation.

Location
The Cottages lie half a mile between the seaside towns of Bettystown and Laytown which are just 20 minutes drive from Dublin Airport. They are 5 miles from Drogheda, the Boyne Heritage Site and 20 minutes away from the Newgrange World Heritage Site.

There are a number of traditional Irish pubs and excellent restaurants (Irish, Chinese and French) within walking distance (accessible by beach or road) as well as a number of shops, supermarkets and newsagents.

"The Cottages" are an ideal haven for peace and relaxation and are just an hours drive from the many major championship courses in Ireland, including, The K Club, the 2006 venue for the Ryder Cup.
