| Bensfort Lodge a 19th Century 4 star stone gate lodge, Located four miles from the heritage town of Kells, it is in close proximity to five golf courses, including the world famous green at Headfort. There are three bedrooms (all ensuite), a fully equipped kitchen w/dining area and a sitting room with traditional open fire.All organic paints and wood treatments used throught. There is a walled garden to the rear of the house, as well as a patio and a barbecue area. Kells itself is an Irish heritage town that boasts numerous sites of historic and cultural interest, it has excellent sports facilities, such as an indoor swimming pool, pitch & putt,equesterian activities and numerous restaurants and bars, as well as a nightclub. Situated one hour from Dublin airport, the lodge is nevertheless an ideal location for Meath sight seeing. The neolithic sights of Mewgrange, Loughcrew, and the hill of Tara are all just a short drive away, not to mention the various other attractions Meath has to offer. |
